This page explains what information StowPark collects from riders, why we collect it, and what we do — and don't do — with it.
What We Collect
- When you reserve a parking spot: your name, phone number, the neighbourhood you usually ride in, and which delivery platform you work with.
- When you text us to reserve: your phone number, and whatever you write in your message.
- If you pay a deposit by card or e-transfer, our payment processor or your bank handles that transaction directly — we only see the payer's name and the amount, never your full card or banking details.
How We Use It
- To hold your reservation and contact you about your move-in date and location.
- To understand where demand is coming from, so we know which neighbourhoods to open next.
- To reach out about your membership. That's it — we don't use your information for anything beyond running the service you signed up for.
What We Don't Do
- We never sell your personal information, to anyone, ever.
- We never share anything that identifies you with delivery platforms (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Skip, etc.). We ask which platform you ride for so we can plan our own operations — that information is never sent back to them.
- We don't use tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Where It's Stored
Reservations are stored securely through our website hosting provider and payment processor. If that ever fails, a reservation lands as a normal email in our inbox instead. Only StowPark and RiderLinx staff can access this information.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your information for as long as you're an active member, plus a reasonable period afterward for our own records. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time — see Contact below.
Your Rights
You can ask what we have on file about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time, by emailing us. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Changes To This Policy
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
